What’s a rigid magnetic box? It is a book-shaped box with magnetic closure. That’s a way to close a box, this kind of rigid box we call a custom magnetic gift box. We can keep the rigid magnetic custom box in white or print it in full color. Also, the box inside can be printed or without printing.
There’re four different closure ways for custom magnetic gift box styles. As per our experience, we have four different closure ways for the rigid magnetic gift box. That’s not a big difference, so choose the one you like for your product packing.
1. Custom magnetic gift box with top flap fully covered box front panel.
This is the standard closure way for rigid custom magnetic closure boxes, it looks like a book when the package is closed, so we also call it book shaped rigid gift box. We can also make the top flap ends halfway of the front box and the other sides of the flap board stretch to the box bottom. You can see there’re two pieces of flaps (top flap and bottom flap), this type of closure way usually used for tall custom magnetic closure boxes, so it makes the box easy to open.

2. Custom magnetic gift box with triangular-shaped flap, the flap can be a fully covered front box or halfway covered front box.
This type of closure is usually used for small custom magnetic closure boxes; it usually only uses one piece of solid magnets at the middle of the flap to close the box. For the triangular shape, we can also customize the shape as per customer requirements.
3. Custom magnetic gift box with ribbon pull.
When the custom magnetic closure box is very short, we’d better make the flap cover the front box look nice. However, the magnetic custom box is hard to open as it is too short. In this case, we usually suggest customer glue a ribbon pull at the middle of the flap. That’s very convenient to open the custom magnetic closure box after having the ribbon pulled.

When we want the flap to be flipped back to the floor/desk or laid down flatly, then we can make the back flap not glued on the inner box, the type of closure method usually used for a smaller magnetic custom box.

Similar to telescoping rigid boxes and sliding drawer boxes, the rigid custom magnetic gift box can also add different inserts to keep your products from shaking. The insert can choose EVA foam, vacuum-forming blister/ plastic vac insert, paper insert, fabric-wrapped insert, silk cloth insert, shredded paper insert, paper sleeve, ribbon, etc.
